Rule 96
Damage reduction measures should be adopted
(1) The development project shall implement the mitigation measures mentioned in the environmental study report at its own expense. (2) Damage reduction measures as per sub-rule (1) should be prioritized to be implemented with the participation of forest user groups or local communities affected by the development project.
(3) Infrastructure for development projects: Wildlife-friendly infrastructure should be built in such a way that wildlife, their habitats and movements are not affected during construction.
